The Standard Edition is available for purchase at $39.99; the Deluxe; $69.99; Game of the Year; $59.99 and VR Bundle for $14. 99.DiRT Rally is set in the future, the game features 20 different rally tracks in 6 locations across Australia, New Zealand, England and Scotland. The game currently features 22 cars (18 licensed cars and 6 fictitious cars) ranging from supercars like the Ford Focus RS RX rallycar, to budget-friendly hatchbacks from Mini all the way up to a Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita Coupe rallycar. The player can change their drivers number plate colour to represent their own personalised rally car. The players will be able to take part in 5 types of races: Rallycross, Tarmac Rally, Ice Trail Championship, Hill Climb and Time Trial. 15 real-life racers have been licensed for the game. The game features 2 different game modes: Career and Single Event. You can compare your race times with your friends & other players via the network, as well as challenge your friends to multiplayer races. The game can be played in 1st or 3rd person view, the perspective of the driver behind the wheel, which you can rotate with a mouse or controller.Multiplayer Online (Online) is like joining an ongoing rally that is taking place every day, only that you'll only be able to play for 30 mins at a time; you'll need to wait for each session to start again before you're able to join again. Cooperative (Co-op) allows the players to take part in a Rallycross (RX) together, working to get the best possible finish. Time Trial (TT) allows you to set up a time trial and beat it later, practice makes perfect. Single Event (SE) is just like the TT only that you only get one time and that's it, and you can't quit and then rejoin either.DiRT Rally was released without any prior announcement by Codemasters on 3 May 2015 for Microsoft Windows via Steam. It was published by Koch Media under their Deep Silver label. The game is a spiritual successor to the 2008 video game "Colin McRae: Dirt" and features the same style of gameplay. The Windows version was released with various graphical options to tweak, including anti-aliasing. In order to optimize the frame rate it was also possible to disable certain post processing effects such as motion blur and wet weather.The Linux version of DiRT Rally was released on 25 February 2016, along with an update for bug fixing, performance improvements and added anti-aliasing options for Nvidia graphics cards. A Mac version of the game is planned to be released in 2016 as well. A PlayStation 4 port of DiRT Rally has also been announced by Codemasters after the release of the Linux version.
